Our second Carols at Christmas took place on Saturday 17 December. We had many visitors, some friends and family, but also some local visitors from Lutterworth. The evening went very well with singing by the choir and the congregation interspersed with special items. We then had a time where we had refreshments and got to know our visitors. This is something we hope to make an annual event, but of course, you don’t have to wait until Christmas time to come and join us.

Our thanks to Christian Berdahl who came for a weekend conference on the Distraction Dilemma Music Seminar. It was very well attended with friends old and new.

The Colourful Cooking Class ran for eight weeks. Those who attended found it most enjoyable. If there is a demand, then it may recommence again at a later date.

Sunday 6 March 2022 at 4pm was when our first Colourful Cooking Classes began. It was attended by both members of our church and members of the local community. It was enjoyed by all who attended. Not only were we shown how to make a Vegan ‘Chicken’ and Vegetable Pie, and a Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad, we were also given samples to try for ourselves. This time enabled us all to get to know each other.

On Sabbath 5 March, 2022 we were blessed with the presence of Dr Tim Riesenberger, our first International speaker, from the USA who was with us for the day. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed his messages.

These can be found on our Media page.

He left us to return to Poland where he had been in a voluntary temporary border hospital helping the Ukrainians who had fled their homes.

On Sabbath 19 February 2022 during the Divine Service we had our first Baby Dedication in our new building. This is in place of a Baby Christening or Baptism as we only have Believer’s Baptism, when the person is old enough and has enough understanding to decide for themselves that they wish to be baptised. The whole service can be seen here.

We were truly blessed to be able to hold our first Communion Service in the building on Sabbath 22 January 2022. The church was very well attended by both regulars and visitors. We look forward to holding further Communion Services in the future.

On 18 December 2021 we had our evening Concert/Carol Service that was very well attended and was a most enjoyable and blessed time. This can be viewed either via our Media 2021 page or here. Refreshments were served afterwards where we were able to get to know our visitors. We trust this was the first of many events.
